The exquisite 54-foot Aquila Power Catamaran offers 4 spacious cabins each with private head and AC control for your guests to enjoy. 5th Cabin for crew. As you navigate the turquoise blue waters, ask the captain to bring you to one of our secluded snorkeling spots. You will feel like you are swimming in a tropical aquarium as you experience rare and colorful sea life all around you. After your swim, head up to the huge flybridge to dry off and get an overhead view of the coral reefs that surround the island. If relaxing is more your style, lay back on the built-in deck lounging pads or one of our floating mats. The warm island waters will not disappoint, and neither will our delicious Caribbean cocktails! Watch the sunset as you enjoy an extraordinary meal prepared by your chef, who will happily accommodate any guests’ dietary requirements. When the sun has set and you are ready to rest, you will feel at home in our spacious and comfortable cabins. Each cabin is equipped with storage space for your belongings and a queen bed. (King in master) The galley and salon have a contemporary configuration and an open-concept space perfect for enjoying time with friends and family. A flat screen TV is placed on the back wall for viewing pleasure in and out of the salon at the barstool seating. Wi-Fi is also included should you choose to stay connected on your dream vacation. Other amenities include: lounging pads for sunbathing, electric grill located on the flybridge, electric winch-style dinghy lift platform, blue tooth capabilities, and sound system.

Introducing the power team on the power catamaran! James and Julia will be your captain and chef for the vessel, Painted Pelican. James has extensive catamaran experience and Julia can pull a menu together that can accommodate any dietary needs with the use of local and seasonal ingredients. Together, this team will deliver the vacation of a lifetime for your family and friends.

James Barker: Captain

James grew up on the coast of southwest UK which sparked a love of the sea, adventures and being active. After graduating from Loughborough University Business School, James worked as a trader in London. When James realized his passion for the sea and adventure was not being fulfilled, he followed his dreams to pursue his sailing qualifications and licensing.

James has now spent over 5 years working as a charter captain around the Caribbean and Mediterranean. He has completed multiple transatlantic deliveries as well as being part of a world circumnavigation on an 80 ft. catamaran.

He’s excited to take you to the most incredible spots in the Caribbean on your charter. James is more than happy to teach guests anything they want to know about boating alongside sharing his passion for the sea. James also enjoys keeping active so can show you his favorite trails and hiking paths if that’s your thing too. He’ll then make you your favorite cocktail to accompany an amazing sunset, so whatever charter you’re after, he's got you covered.

Julia Celms: Chef/Stew/Mate

French/ American / Latvian, Julia had the chance of growing up around the world. She attributes her curious, bubbly and outgoing personality to the extensive experiences she had while traveling. Julia loves learning about different cultures in all aspects; Languages, travel and food. Julia's food is inspired from her experiences with different cultures around the world.

Growing up, Julia's family got her involved with cooking at a very young age. She eagerly and naturally continued to cook and work in various Parisian restaurants while studying fine arts and photography.

When Julia was introduced to yachting in 2019, she absolutely fell in love with the pleasures of living on a yacht and gathering people around delicious food. Julia finds her cooking to be a form of art that she continues to successfully develop and explore. She loves preparing fresh and healthy dishes and always tries to incorporate local delicacies from the current destination.

This will by Julia's 5th year in the industry working as a chef in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. She is passionate about her work and is eager to share her delectable creations with her guests.
